Audi will unveil its new R15 race car at the 12-hour endurance race at Sebring International Raceway. Although the German automaker announced plans to withdrawal from the American Le Mans Series, it is committed to running the ALMS season-opening race at Sebring as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans later in the year.
Audi will campaign two R15s in the Sebring race that begins March 21. The automaker promises the racecars are “packed with numerous technically innovative detail solutions” and that they differ quite a bit from their R10 predecessor.
