Chris Rice, a veteran NASCAR crew chief who s recent resume include Bill Davis Racing (BDR), Kevin Harvick, Inc. (KHI) and Petty Enterprises (PE) will once again call the shots for the No. 47 SIPerformance Ford. Rice began his ARCA tenure with Brewco Motorsports at USA International Speedway last month.
“Chris is very easy to work with and that s important for me, ” continued McGilton, who will make his ninth career ARCA start on Saturday. “I m still learning and I ll be doing that a lot this year, so to have a veteran like Chris calling the shots makes my job a lot easier. ”
He continued, “Communication is key in racing. Chris and I worked through the hiccups we had at Lakeland and bounced back with a top-13 finish, no room to complain in only my second short track event. We re sitting high in the points because the communication and equipment have been great, we look to continue our momentum on Saturday. ”
