After two disappointing finishes, Phillip McGilton and Brewco Motorsports rebounded back into shape with a eighth place performance in Saturday’s Buckle-Up Kentucky 150.
McGilton entered the seventh ARCA RE/MAX Series event of the season also hoping to regain some points after two sour finishes dipped McGilton to eighth in the championship standings heading into the second night race of the season.
In practice, McGilton in his No. 47 Midwest Equipment Ford Fusion posted the 11th quickest lap. The team opted to make some changes to their machine hoping it would pay off for ARCA SIM Factory pole qualifying.
