The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts Northern Division’s First event of 10 Points Events, 11 Overall in the 2007 Season, is now complete. The immaculate 0.686 Mile Progressively Banked Paved Oval of the O’Reilly (IN) Raceway Park at Indianapolis served as hosts for the 2007 ASALMS Northern Division Season Opener; The A. S.I. Limited 100 Presented by Lucas Oil Products and Ed Martin Automotive Group.

In what was the greatest comeback in ASALMS history; Brian Campbell started 27th and took the lead on Lap 88 when the A. S.I. Limited Chevrolet Monte Carlo of then race leader, Sean Murphy pulled into the pits after running out of gas! Campbell would then hold off charges from Rookie Troy Hintzsche, who also ran out of gas with Five Laps to go, and then Indianapolis’ own., Peter Cozzolino who mustered up a late charge.
