Brian Franz And A Host of Challengers Are Definitely Ready to Go Racing



After a couple of rainouts, drivers and officials of the O’Reilly NCRA Modified Series, presented by ICM/Ethanol, are wondering if they will ever get this season going.

Originally scheduled for April 7 at 81 Speedway here in Park City, cold weather forced the postponement of their 10th season opener to May 5. When rain crept into the forecast for that night, officials moved the show again, this time to Saturday, May 19.

Defending four-time series champion Brian Franz and a host of challengers are definitely ready to go racing. When they do, Franz will be one of the favorites to win his 22nd career NCRA modified race, but it won’t be easy.
