NAPA
The 2007 NASCAR Grand National Division West Series final point race of the season will be on September 15th at Altamont Motorsports Park. The no. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS team from Bill McAnally Racing with driver Brian Ickler is prepared to record their fourth win of the season. Ickler is currently fourth in the series championship point race and only one point out of the top-three and only 34 points out of second.
“We’ve turned our race program around since our spring visit to Altamont, ” said Ickler. The no. 16 NAPA Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS has visited Victory Lane three times in the last three visits to short tracks this season. “We are prepared to finish the season on a high note as we prepare to compete in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown in October. ” The no. 16 NAPA team from BMR won the inaugural Toyota All-Star Showdown race in 2003.
