Before the start of the Buckle Up 150 ARCA RE/MAX Series race, just after qualifying have been completed, Dominick Casola said, “We just have to play it safe for the race and finish.
“Qualifying was tough. The track had changed (29th in qualifying), but we’ll take it, ” said Casola after the SIM Factory Pole Award Qualifying sessions. “This place got real slick from practice to qualifying but we (the Andy Belmont owned No. 1 Ford) made it through. ”
Casola was able to improve on his practice laps during his qualifying run with a 32.034 seconds lap for a speed of 168.571 mph.
The Holmdel, NJ racer did play it safe and he did finish in the Buckle Up 150.
