Cody Smith and his 5K Motorsports team are all geared up for the next ASA Late Model Series Southern Division event at the Hickory (NC) Motor Speedway, located just outside of Hickory in Newton, North Carolina this Friday and Saturday October 19-20, 2007.
The running of the Meet the Stars 125 at the famed 0.363 Mile Semi-Banked Paved Oval in the Tar Heel State is next for Smith who made his 5K Motorsports debut in the ASA Late Model Series Southern Division during the Georgia Doubleheader Weekend back on September 14-15, 2007.
Smith is looking forward to getting back behind the wheel for 5K Motorsports; “The 5K Team does a fantastic job preparing these cars and I know we will be a contender at Hickory.” Stated Smith from his Texas home.
Smith and 5K Motorsports are using the ASA Late Model Series Southern Division to test the young 18-year-olds’ racing ability and will use the results in planning the team and drivers future together for 2008
