East Carolina Motor Speedway Back In Action This Week



East Carolina Motor Speedway will roar back to life this week with practice Thursday and six races Saturday.

An open practice session will be held Thursday from 6-8:30 p. m. Saturday, the limited late model stock drivers will headline six divisions of racing.

Saturday will also feature double points in all divisions. It will also be Pitt County Merchants Night.

ECMS is west of Robersonville on U. S. 64 Alternate. Pits open at 3 p. m. Saturdays, practice begins at 4 p. m., qualifying begins at 6 p. m. and racing begins at 7:30 p. m. Grandstands open at 5 p. m. Pit admission is $20. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 7 to 12 and free for children 6 and under.
