The no. 20 Green Frog Roasting Company.com Chevrolet with driver Eric Richardson will be making a hard charge for the lead as the Grand National Division West Series heads to Altamont Motorsports Park for the Dan Gamel RV Centers “200” on September 15th. The rookie driver from Bill McAnally Racing is currently in the top-ten in the chase for the series championship and is looking to record his first win in the NASCAR Grand National Division West Series.
“I can’t wait,” said Richardson. “Racing at Altamont is bitter sweet, when we raced there in the spring we ran strong. We were in contention with 10 to go and got caught up in an unavoidable crash”. Richardson recorded a third place finish in 2006 at Altamont while racing in the NASCAR Southwest Tour. “We haven’t gotten the results we’re capable of at Altamont,” continued Richardson, ‘but the No. 20 Green Frog Roasting Company.com team continues to work hard and is focused on winning this final point race of the season. We’re ready.”
Rookie Richardson and the no. 20 Green Frog Roasting Company.com team had seven top-ten finishes this season and recorded a fourth place finish at the short track of Colorado National. In 2005, Richardson won the NASCAR Late Model Track Championship at Mesa Marin Raceway.
