Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway returns to action this Friday May 11th as it hosts Fantastic Fridays 2 featuring the Victory Lap Late Models, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modifieds, New Generation Racing Sprint Cars and the All Americans in high octane, door to door, edge of your seat action.
Heading into this Friday night’s events the chase for this season’s championships get cranked up again with Walker Arthur of Forest, VA holding the largest lead of any of the divisions. Arthur heads into the weekend with a 19 point advantage over the ‘Faster Pastor’ Tom Cohick of Gloucester, VA in the chase for the Victory Lap Late Model crown. Arthur has been busy this year competing in three divisions, late model, sportsman and super late model and the time on the track is playing a major role in his consistent performances this year.
