The ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division Presented by GM Performance Parts will mark the halfway point of the Fifth Anniversary 2007 Racing Season in its home state of Michigan.
A new tradition will begin within the ASALMS as the cars and stars of “America’s Premiere Short Track Series” the ASALMS Challenge Division will take part in the 1st annual Tradition 200 on Friday and Saturday June 15-16, 2007 at the famed Berlin (MI) Raceway.
The historic fairgrounds oval located West of Grand Rapids in Marne, Michigan will host the ASALMS Challenge Divisions’ Sixth Race of the 2007 schedule. Joining the ASALMS Challenge Division contingent will be Berlin’s own Instant Cash Advance Sportsman division.
Heading into Marne, Michigan for the halfway point of the Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season in the ASALMS Challenge Division, West Bend, Wisconsin’s Travis Dassow, the winner of Two ASALMS Challenge Division Features out of Five events conducted so far in 2007, has a 52 Point lead over Current Pat Bourdow Memorial Rookie of the Year Points Leader, Derek Thorn, from Lakeport, California.
