Fastline Motorsports

Fastline Motorsports team drivers Jeff and Jim Lapcevich will compete in this weekend’s Dodge Dealers 200 at Cayuga Speedway, the first stop in this year’s NASCAR Canadian Tire Series tour. The team will be campaigning its Tim Hortons - EMCEA Transport Fastline Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlos in the new stock car series.

“I’m looking forward to the first race in the new NASCAR series and returning to Cayuga, ” said Jim Lapcevich. “Cayuga is our home track and we always have lots of fans there. And, as with any of our races, it’s important that we run well. ”

The inaugural event, race one in the 12-race schedule, will begin the new NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

“The 23 car team has been fortunate, as we’ve won six road course events in the last four years, ” added Jeff Lapcevich. “We would like to add our first oval race to our resume and Cayuga would be a great place to do it. ”

The event at Cayuga Speedway Park in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series is the first event in the 12-race 2007 season. It is scheduled to start Saturday, May 26, at 8:00 p. m.

Team Fastline is sponsored by Tim Hortons, EMCEA Transport, Springer’s Meats, Troy Cove Marine, Mr. Lube and B & J Electric.
