The stock car racing team of driver Jack Kalwasinski of Dyer, Indiana and Highland, Indiana car owner Nick Trgovich will be try their hand this weekend in ASA Late Model Series Northern Division competition.
Kalwasinski is slated to pilot the Trgovich Racing Ford Fusion No. 011 in the second ASALMS Northern Division event of the 2007 season; The 1st annual Bob Milner Memorial 125 Presented by Bailey’s Carpet One of Morris, Illinois at the Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois this Saturday, May 26, 2007
More than 30 entries are expected for the 125-lap event at the one third mile paved Grundy raceway with the event honoring the late Bob Milner, who was the official ASALMS photographer before his passing last year.
Last year saw Kalwasinski capture the Limited Late Model stock car division championship at the Illiana (IN) Motor Speedway in Schererville, Indiana. Kalwasinski drove Trgovich’s car to seven feature wins at the northwest Indiana speedway. Saturday’s race at Grundy will be the first ASALMS event for the Kalwasinski/Trgovich combo.
