Jim Lapcevich and his EMCEA Transport – Tim Hortons Monte Carlo will be heading to Riverside Speedway in Antigonish, Nova Scotia to race in the Atlantic Dodge Dealers 300 this Saturday.
“The #25 car has been strong, we qualified very well last weekend, and I’m looking for good things in the East, ” said Lapcevich. “Riverside Speedway should be an exciting place to race with the high-banked corners. I’m sure it will be fun. ”
The event will be the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series’ first visit to Nova Scotia, the Maritime Provinces, and the 11th race for the series presented by Sirius Satellite Radio in 2007.
“We’ve been from British Columbia to Nova Scotia and Alberta, Ontario and Quebec in between this season with the EMCEA Transporter, ” added Lapcevich. “This is truly a Canadian series. ”
Teammate Jeff Lapcevich will not be competing this weekend, but will return for the season’s final event at Kawartha Speedway.
The Atlantic Dodge Dealers 300 is race eleven in the 12-race NASCAR Canadian Tire Series schedule and will take place Saturday, September 15 at Riverside Speedway.
