At the Geneva Motor Show this year, Lamborghini shocked the world with their most powerful car to date, the Murcielago SuperVeloce. But apparently, obviously one shock in a month isn’t enough for the Italian supercar maker as it just revealed a new limited production roofless version of their alpha bull, the Murielago LP 650-4 Roadster. And you’d be right to assume that the ‘650’ in the car’s name indicates more power, as its 6.5-litre V12 engine now produces 650 PS of power. Coupled with 660 Nm of torque going to all four wheels through Lamborghini’s patented permanent all-wheel drive system, the LP 650-4 roadster can hit 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and will max out at a heady 330km/h.
Lamborghini hasn’t announced how much the LP 650-4 Roadster will cost, but with a limited production run of only 50 of these beauties, it goes without saying that the price will be rather exorbitant. And after seeing this super exotic supercar, we’re positively buzzing with excitement for the Sant’Agata based company to make a topless version of the 670 SuperVeloce.
