The pair first got cosy at MTV Awards in Munich last November and kept in touch - despite Lewis being spotted with a string of ladies in Cannes.
Nicole, 29, told friends: “We’ve been seeing each other on and off for three months. He was amazing.”
A source said: “Things are certainly getting serious between them. Whisking her away like that shows he really means business. He is really pushing the boat out for Nicole. They are on a short break before he heads to his next race in Montreal.”
The singer has since described the pair as ‘soulmates’.
Miss Scherzinger said ‘I love his soul. When I saw him for the first time, I was located in an enormous crowd.
‘At that time I didn’t suspect that Lewis is exactly the same family person like me. We are soul mates.’
