Lynn Geisler Honored As Champion At Lernerville Banquet, Prepared For 2007

The Geisler Racing team and 2006 Lernerville Speedway Track Champion, Lynn Geisler attended the 39th Annual Lernerville Speedway Banquet this past Saturday. Lynn and crew were recognized as the Late Model Champions for the 2006 season at Lernerville Speedway.

The championship came in a year that the team was celebrating its 25th season with sponsor Cochran Automotive. “Its kind of a dream come true to be racing with one sponsor for a long time let alone 25 years, and then win that year.” stated an emotional Geisler at the 39th Annual Lernerville Speedway banquet. “It’s just a treat to be involved with those kinds of people. Every year I look back and wonder; have I worn this sponsor out…they have been around 25 years, now I’m afraid they are going to were me out!”

After Lynn’s short speech to thank his crew and sponsors, Jack Crowell (Cochran Automotive) thanked Lynn for all that he has done in the 25 years that the two have been associated together. Jack also announced that in about three to six months he will be retiring as a sales manager at Cochran Automotive and becoming a “Consultant”.

Lynn Geisler and Geisler racing are hard at work in the shop and their brand new 2007 Rocket Chassis is just about ready to go for the 2007 season. Lynn will defend his championship at Lernerville Speedway as well as chase points at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway. The team may hit a few of the bigger shows in the region including the 360 OTC World of Outlaws event at Lernerville Speedway on April 17th, 2007.

Up next for Lynn Geisler will be an autograph session at the Clearview Mall Car Show on March 16th from 7pm to 8pm.
