Teen racer Sam McAulay has continued his outstanding race career in 2007, moving ahead with his plan to gain experience in Legends Cars on new tracks to him.
My last race was at Caraway, ” he says. “We finished third in class and eighth overall because there were only six Semi-Pro cars so they raced everybody together. Caraway was definitely a fun track, ” he added.
McAulay plans to run the Summer Shootout at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, running in the Semi-Pro class for the ten-race series in front of TV cameras. His next race is planned as the Pole Night preliminary race on Thursday, May 24, as racers prepare for the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Legends cars will be racing on the quarter-mile track set in the front straight of the Speedway’s mile and a half.
