The 2007 season is approaching rapidly despite the searing cold weather that is pounding the Midwest region of the United States. Drivers and teams are busy preparing for the upcoming season in the Midwest that traditionally doesn’t begin until the month of April.
One driver is chomping at the bit to get the 2007 season underway after a season that left more questions than answers, Coldwater, Michigan’s Michael Gaier is ready to forget the 2006 campaign and focus his efforts forward and into the future. The 2007 season can’t get here fast enough for the soon to be 19-year-old Great Lakes State driver.
For the 2007 season, Michael Gaier and his Gaier Motorsports crew will focus their efforts on the full schedule of events within the Rives Junction, Michigan based Bollhoff Rivnut Super Pro Series as well as a partial schedule in both the ASA Late Model Series Challenge and Northern Divisions and a couple of CRA Super Series events when their Super Pro schedule allows.
Tentatively Gaier’s first race of the 2007 season will also be the ASALMS Northern Division’s Season Opener, which is set for Friday and Saturday April 27-28, 2007 at the O’Reilly (IN) Raceway Park at Indianapolis in Clermont, Indiana for the A. S.I. Limited 100 Presented by Lucas Oil Products.
Gaier will then begin his quest for the 2007 Bollhoff Rivnut Super Pro Series Championship on Saturday May 19, 2007 at the Angola (IN) Motor Speedway in Angola, Indiana; About 30 minutes South of the Gaier Motorsports shop in Coldwater, Michigan.
