Ron Hornaday Jr. earned the pole for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 Saturday morning, but the race lasted just 52 laps after heavy storms moved into the area.
About 30 minutes after the race was called, tornado sirens went off at the track and a local TV station showed a twister on the ground to the southwest. Most of the fans had already left by then. The Associated Press
The race will resume where it left off, with Skinner out front followed by Brian Ickler, Matt Crafton, Ron Hornaday and Brian Scott. Hornaday began the race on the pole. NASCAR.com
