Clint Bowyer raced to his second Nationwide Series victory of the season, taking the lead with 83 laps left to win on the concrete at Dover International Speedway in Dover, Del.
Mike Bliss was second and Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards rounded out the top five. Busch kept his overall lead in the standings. Boston Herald
Busch, who failed to make the Chase in the Cup series, kept his overall lead in the points standings. He also became the second driver in the second-tier series to ever lead 2,000 laps in a season. He led 109 laps at Dover.
He refused to blame the radio woes for his finish.
“I think it was just a set of mismatched tires, unfortunately there,” he said. “The tires just threw us for a loop. Unfortunately, we didn’t adjust right to what we had with the tires.” Auto Racing Daily
