The night got off to a slow start as Lynn was collected in a spin on the last lap of his heat race that lead put the 2006 Lernerville Speedway Track Champion into the B-Main. Geisler would start the “B” on the final row but was able to make his way to the front quickly. Lynn would go on to win the B-Main to transfer to the night s 25-lap main event.
Geisler started the A-Main in the 19th spot and looked to have a very strong race car early in the race. Geisler was up to the 11th position when trouble ensued in front of him. Trying to avoid the wreck, Lynn was forced over the banking in turn 3 and had to go to the tail of the field to restart the race. The name of the game was staying out of trouble and Lynn did just that and wound up 7th in the final rundown of the caution laden feature event. Despite the bad luck the “Geisler Gang” had, Lynn was still very pleased, “From starting in the back and to be rolling at the end I consider it a success.” Geisler said. “I would have liked to have run a little better but overall we are pretty pleased. Going with the new tire thing and trying to get used to that, getting messed up in the heat race and starting in the back; yeah, I thought it was a pretty good night”
The “Geisler Gang” will again be at Lernerville Speedway next Friday April 6th and the following night Lynn will help open Pittsburgh s PA Motor Speedway for the 2007 season.
