Phillip McGilton returns to the Toledo Speedway this weekend for the Hantz Group 200 by Belle Tire. This weekend marks the finale of the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series Season and the conclusion of McGilton’s Rookie year. With eight career top-10’s and two career top-5’s, McGilton enters this season’s final race hungry for that first win and looking to end the season with a resounding BANG.
“I’m looking forward to be back at Toledo, ” said McGilton. “We had a really strong qualifying effort in the spring and we ran really well, just had some electrical problems that cost us a good finish. We’re bringing a stellar car back here so we’re looking to have a great weekend and really end this season on a high note. ”
This will be McGilton’s second career start at the Toledo Speedway. McGilton qualified the No. 47 SI Performance Ford Fusion in the third starting position for the May race.
McGilton will be signing autographs at the ARCA RE/MAX Series Fan Fest on Friday, October 12th from 5:00 p. m. to 6:30 p. m.
