Champion Racing Association officials have announced that Plymouth Speedway is hosting a “Big Purse” CRA/Plymouth FWD Compact Showdown on Sunday, June 24. Racers and fans will be able to check out the new pavement and all the improvements to the facility at the beautiful 3/8’s mile track in Plymouth, Indiana (near the intersection of State Roads 31 and 30).
Plymouth officials have added $1000 on top of the standard CRA purse and are paying $30 to start. This special event will now pay $500, 300, 200, 150, 100, 75, 65, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40, 35, 30 on out through the rest of the planned larger starting field…for the 50 lap feature.
The Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts have featured 3 different winners in the first three events, with two winners being disqualified for unapproved altering of stock components. CRA is committed to keeping the cars as stock as possible, which makes it affordable and fair for anyone to compete and be successful.
Headlining the events for the night will be the CRA Street Stocks in a $1000-to-win, 100 Lap race, featuring the top street stock drivers from tracks all over the Midwest.
