Chico’s Jonathan Allard came into Placerville Speedway leading the Golden State Challenge Series points and looked to be on his way to a great finish until contact from another car caused front end damage and forced him to pull to a stop.
Jonathan was running a strong third in the feature aboard the Williams Motorsports, GT Trends, K & N Filters, Red Line Oil No. 0 and was right on the back bumper of the top two cars when another car slid beneath him under the flag stand and contacted his left front. Jonathan slowed to a stop in the second corner to bring out a caution.
