Michael Annett and his TMC Racing team were poised for a strong entrance into the ASA Late Model Series’ Northern Division at the O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis season opener. Unfortunately the record books will not reflect their strong performance through preliminary and race day events for the “A. S.I. Limited 100”.
Dave Weltmeyer, crew chief of the #12 TMC Transportation Ford Fusion, unveiled a brand new setup package and the team unloaded with a fast racecar. Annett wheeled his blue oval ride around the 0.686-mi oval with the second fastest laps in the practice session but learned the car didn’t respond well to fresh tires.
