Ray Mooi Continues To Lead The Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings

Ray Mooi continues to lead the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings after 10 CRA Super Series events so far this season heading into this Saturday’s Boyne Machine 125 Presented By Centennial Wireless and Spray Power at Berlin Raceway. Mooi, currently third in the CRA Super Series Rookie Of The Year Standings, gained nine positions finishing in 12th in the series last event on Labor Day at Winchester Speedway to raise his total to 53 gained positions for the season. Mooi is not entered for this weekends event, he will be racing in the ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Salem Speedway Saturday night.

Jason Dietsch has now moved into second place after finally breaking into the top fifteen in series points, but Dietsch lost six positions at the Winchester event, giving him a total of 40 gained positions for the season. Fellow rookie contender Sean Matthuis is now in third place with 34 gained positions after moving up seven positions in the Winchester event. Jack Smith has now dropped to fourth place with 25 gained positions, he lost one position in the Winchester event. Fellow rookie Nick Baran is now in fifth with 24 gained positions, he did not participate in the Winchester event.

Cometic Gasket, the Official Gasket of the CRA Super Series, will award a $400 bonus to the season leader in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2007 CRA Super Series Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in series points to be eligible for this award.
