Chad Sinon announced his retirement from the sport a short time back. Retirement has not suited him well so he is getting back involved in local short track stock car racing….. on a limited basis. “The Maverick s Motorcycle Club bought a lot of my equipment and put Duane Howard in their modified stock car for the 2007 season, ” said Sinon. “I am a big supporter of the club and they were not in a position to provide a backup car for Duane. In today s racing, in order to be successful, it is almost a must to have backup cars. So I have decided to buy one for them. ”
Sinon, who has won several races and championships are area tracks in recent years, is known for doing things in a first class way. He contacted Billy Colton who operates Troyer Race Cars in Rochester, New York to have him build a new Troyer Max-Flex modified for the Maverick s Motorcycle Club. “I liked what Billy has done. His business was burned to the ground and he came back, ” said the very successful Blue Bell, PA businessman. “He was down to just about nothing and now he is back as a power in the sport and I think that is just outstanding. I wanted to support him and asked him to build us a car. He agreed. ”
