Ryan Foster, one of the Golden Gate Racing/Richard Childress Development drivers, is already back in the Midwest getting ready for the 4th and 5th races of the Grand National Tour. His week as been spent with Richard Childress, Kevin Harvick, Clint Boyer Tim McCreadie and other members of the RCR NEXTEL teams. The group has been relaxing by running Go Karts at several tracks, including Dale Earnhardt’s personal playground.

Coming off 2 Top Ten finishes and tough tire luck at Altamont, the top seeded rookie and the team are looking forward to a whirlwind weekend with 2 races at 2 new tracks in 3 days. First stop is Elko Speedway for the Minnesota 150 on May 18th, 2007. Foster should settle right into the high banked 3/8th mile oval with ease as it is one of his favorite configurations. The track is one of only 60 short tracks across the country to be sanctioned by NASCAR and usually has several groves that allow for some great 2 and 3 wide racing.
