The old joke about how “everything is bigger in Texas, †rings true with Thunder Hill Raceway, a short track situated in Kyle, Texas. Even though THR is a 3/8-mile oval, the excitement it casts on the community is large, and should grow considerably in 2007 with their recent affiliation with the ASA Member Track program.
As a Level II participant in the ASA Member Track Program, THR joins a national organization with racetracks across the United States, each dedicated to working together to improve the state of racing for both the fans and competitors. THR runs a very exciting 11 race season with every show being a “Big Event†for race fans, yet allowing the competitors and race fans an opportunity to still have time for family.
