Look up the term “Sophomore Slump” in the newest Webster’s Dictionary and quite possibly you will see Danny Ouderkirk’s face and car pictured next to the definition. The 19-year-old has had a trying Sophomore Season in the ASA Late Model Series thus far in 2007 to say the least.
For the 2007 season, Ouderkirk and the Lawson, Missouri based Bob’s Collision and Repair Racing Team is running the full schedule of events in both the ASALMS Challenge and Northern Divisions. So far this season, the best finish the team has recorded is an 18th place showing at the Toledo (OH) Speedway during the Glass Breaker 200 on April 21, 2007.
