Travis Wilson is looking to get his ASA Late Model South season back on track, and he plans on getting that started next Saturday when the ASA Late Models head to Watermelon Capital (GA) Speedway for the next ASALMS Southern Division event.
“I really am ready for our next race at Cordele, ” said Wilson. “We are actually going to be taking a brand-new car down there with us. We tore some stuff up at Toledo (OH) Speedway; it ended up bending the clip, so we have this brand new car ready at the shop for Watermelon Capital.
“We haven’t run the car before, so I don’t really know what to expect with the new car, but I think that we should be good. We have been fast every track that we have been to, but we have just had some bad luck that would bite us and we haven’t been able to finish the races. ”
