Watermelon Capital Speedway Awaits Cars And Stars of ASALMS



The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts expanded into the Southern region of the United States during the 2006 season with the creation of the ASALMS Southern Division. The Southern Division grew steadily throughout the 2006 season and the series has started the 2007 season off with a bang.

An ASALMS Southern Division record 41 cars were on hand for the 2007 Season Opener in Bronson, Florida and those teams will have plenty of time to get prepared for the second race of the 2007 campaign, which will come almost two months after the Opener; The cars and stars of the ASALMS Southern Division will travel to the Watermelon Capital (GA) Speedway in Cordele, Georgia on Friday and Saturday May 4-5, 2007 for the running of the Watermelon Bowl 125.
