Brothers Burt and Brian Frisselle will race at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia Saturday night before competing again in the VIR 400 in Rolex Series competition on Sunday as they take on the “Virginia Double”
The two young brothers will be racing against each other Saturday night in NASCAR Late Model competition at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, and then again on Sunday afternoon in the Daytona Prototypes at Virginia International Raceway near Alton.
Burt and Brian have joined Stacy Compton’s Turn One Racing team and are contesting the NASCAR Late Model Championship at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia this season.
Along with their growing oval racing schedule, Burt and Brian are also sharing driving duties during the 2007 Rolex Sports Car Series season in the AIM Autosport Lexus-Riley, alternating rounds as they co-drive with full-time pilot Mark Wilkins in the Daytona Prototype Class.
The original plan for this weekend’s Rolex race at Virginia International Raceway was for Brian to be racing in the Rolex event with Burt helping out as a spotter for him on the 3.27-mile VIR road course.
