Andy Lally will take to the wheel of the No. 00 Docupak/TRG/Toyota Tundra for the final race of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) season at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Ford 200.

Lally is coming off of a disappointing finish at Phoenix International Raceway when he was taken out of the race by a wayward competitor with just 14-laps remaining.

“My arm is fine,” Lally said. “I have full movement and it is really not an issue. I will be in the TRG Grand-Am Porsche on Wednesday at Daytona getting ready for the Rolex 24 Hours and that will help loosen things up.”

The layout of the Homestead-Miami Speedway is a unique track in that it is a true oval layout.

“Homestead is unique in that it is not a tri-oval. It is not your typical mile-and-a-half oval. The bottom groove is 18-degrees and goes up like 20. It should have a few lines through the corners. We will have the truck we ran at Texas at Homestead. The truck ran well up high at Texas, so we will see how it handles at Homestead. It is a good opportunity to get more miles on a different track. It is all about momentum and experience for 2008.”

“Andy is fit to drive and we are going to put a good truck under him for Homestead,” Kevin Buckler, team owner said. “We are gaining valuable miles and experience for the 2008 season. It was a tough run at Phoenix, but the positives of that weekend greatly outweighed what happened at the end of the race. With the way things played out after Andy was hit, we were looking at a potential top 15 finish. We are in the early stage with our sponsor relationships and we will use Homestead to try and further those discussions to get things confirmed for 2008.”

TRG would like to thank its primary sponsor Docupak which administers the Army Reserve Recruiting Assistance Program (www.AR-RAP.com) on behalf of the Army Reserve. TRG also recognizes associate sponsors on the truck, including NAI Hiffman, Keeley Construction, The Private Bank, and Adobe Road Winery.

TRG was founded in 1993 and has been competing at the top level of sports car racing ever since. TRG Motorsports (the NASCAR division) is made up of a group of 10 partners, friends and racers. The team has the most wins of any team in the Grand-Am Rolex Series with 23, including the 2005 and 2006 Rolex Series GT championship trophy to go along with wins at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 24 Hours or Le Mans.

TRG is a manufacturer and distributor of high-performance racing parts. The group specializes in engine and chassis building as well as full service professional race car preparation. The company also provides electrical and mechanical engineering services, driver development and arrive-and-drive opportunities. TRG is based in Petaluma, Calif., near its home track of Infineon Raceway in Sonoma as well as its new facility in Charlotte.

The Ford 200 from Homestead-Miami Speedway will be run on Friday, November 16. The race will be televised live on the SPEED Channel starting at 7:30 p. m. EST. The race will also be televised to troops around the world on the Armed Forces Network.
