The Cannonball World Series has today announced that entrants signing up for July’s Great American Run will have the chance to walk away with the largest prize in road racing – a cool $1 million.
Already set to be one of the greatest car events of the decade, the stateside spectacular will see this year’s winner take home a brand new limited edition Saleen ‘Bad Boy’ Mustang and automatic entrance into next year’s rally. The one million dollar fund will be paid out to the winner of the 2008 epic.
“We still have a few spaces remaining for drivers and teams wishing to take part in this summer’s road rally, ” confirms Tim Porter, event organiser. “The victorious pairing will be granted admission to defend their crown next year and earn their shot at our mammoth prize fund. ”
