Motorbase Performance will contest the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship with a pair of BMW 320si E90 S2000 specification cars.
The Kent-based outfit, which had been tipped to trade in its SEAT Toledo Cupras for the newer Leon model, has opted to make the switch to the proven rear-wheel drive machines after securing a pair of rebuilt and refurbished BMWs from the Schnitzer World Touring Car Championship team.
The Motorbase team will head out to Germany later this week to collect the first of the cars ahead of a full winter test programme.
