THREE companies have offered to sponsor a 12-year-old model car racing fanatic who is so good he competes against adults.
Dale Hulbert, of The Common, Holt, started racing radio-controlled cars in September 2005 at the age of 11 after seeing a stand at the West Wilts Show advertising a club in Melksham called the West Wilts Model Car Club.
The John of Gaunt School pupil entered into the club’s Junior Championships and promptly won the title for two years running.
Then he entered the Thrashnals Indoor Championship at the Christie Miller Sports Centre, Bowerhill and finished 3rd in his class having only run in five out of eight rounds.
