Lotus Exige Police Car Heads Convoy Of The World’s Most Exclusive Supercars For Parade

Naturally, this impressive spectacle will rouse a lot of attention so it is only fitting therefore that East Sussex Police provide their Lotus Exige S as police escort. The Lotus Exige S, a worthy inclusion to the supercar line-up in its own right, redefines the term “Extreme Performance”, but also is a proficient guv’nor, capable of keeping any over exuberant driving in check!

Reaching 60mph in 4.1 seconds from a standing start and 100 mph in less than 10 seconds the Exige S tops out at 148 mph (where the law permits, of course) and is one of most powerful production cars in the world for its engine size. This phenomenal performance comes with class leading fuel economy with an impressive official combined figure of 31.0 mpg (9.1l/ 100 km). There aren’t many other production cars in the world that have such good performance combined with such good fuel economy!

Furthermore, being a Lotus, the Exige S police car is just as at home on the back roads and city streets as it is on the motorways and the combination of power and agility will secure the safety of the supercar parade and all other road users.
