Matt Miller will travel to south Georgia again this weekend and drive the Murrell Mixon Motorsports Team car at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA. Matt and the M&M Transport Racing team will compete in the “Show Down on the Coast” at the 4/10th mile clay track and will be vying for the $10,000 first place prize money. It was just two weeks ago the Matt made his first appearance in the M&M Racing Team car for Murrell Mixon at Golden Isles Speedway and won the $10,000 Sothern All Stars sanctioned event. This weekend’s event will be sanctioned by the National Late Model Series and will start on Thursday October 25th with qualifying for the 100-lap feature event that will be run on Saturday October 27th.
“I’m looking forward to driving for Murrell Mixon again this weekend. I really enjoyed working with Murrell and his crew chief Ronnie Blair from Southeast Motorsports. It was great to get a win with those guys and hopefully we can repeat that again this weekend”, stated Matt.
Matt and the Larry Moring Motorsports team competed this past weekend at the $50,000 to win Dirt Track World Championship at KC Raceway in Wavery, OH. Matt would not fair as well as a poor qualifying effort would relegate Matt to the back of a heat race and eventually in one of the consolation races only to fall short of a transfer position into the 100-lap feature.
