It’s a one-stop shop for bodywork and an oil change.
But the bodywork isn’t for your car, although the oil change is.
A new Montello business, Body Zone Fitness Center, is coupled with — literally — Kendall Tire & Auto.
“A lot of people that join, we do all the work on their cars,” said Laurie Beahm.
Beahm co-owns the center with Brenda Kendall. Kendall and her husband, Jeff, operate Kendall Tire & Auto.
They are housed in the same building, and Kendall and Beahm — also first cousins — help to run both businesses.
“You’ve got to diversify around here in a small town,” Jeff said.
Jeff opened the auto repair business about 20 years ago and has been racing cars for years. Jeff was the super-late-model season champion at Dells Raceway Park in 2007.
