Porsches will add pace and grace to the Lexmark Indy 300 at the Gold Coast from October 18 to 21.
A range of 911, Cayman and Cayenne vehicles will be used as official VIP off-track transport.
The Porsches, supplied by Terry Knight’s Porsche Centre Gold Coast, will also rip around the Surfers Paradise street track as official course cars.
Lexmark Indy 300 general manager Greg Hooton said the highly desirable marque was a good fit for the event that draws more than 300,000 over four days.
“Porsche has a long and strong association with international motor sport so we are delighted to have them at the Lexmark Indy 300,” Hooton said.
“Both are a sleek, fast product with which people want to be associated.”
Knight said it made sense that his dealership jumped on board to become an official sponsor at the event which has been running a round of the North American-based open wheeler Champ Car series since 1991
