There are a lot of phenomenal things about the new TT, but backseat passenger space isn’t one of them. As long as you realize that from the beginning ... and you don’t care ... I strongly recommend that you check out the new TT.
The TT went on hiatus for the 2007 model year, coming back for 2008 as more aggressive yet elegant vehicle that is 5 inches longer and 3 inches wider than the previous model. While the TT retains much of its very recognizable shape, the differences lie in the subtle changes.
The exterior lines get smoothed out and give the appearance of one long sweeping line from the bottom of the grille all the way to the back bumper. While the previous model had a bubblelike shape, the 2008 TT looks long and sleek. The grille itself takes over the front end of the car and is perfectly accented by sweeping, ellipsoidal headlights that are reminiscent of the new R8. I especially like the aggressive hood lines and the elegantly placed signal indicators on the side mirrors.
