Kenny Adams became the first repeat winner for the American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region by charging to victory lane in Friday night’s 25-lap feature at Sugar Creek Raceway.

Starting on the front row outside, Adams outgunned polesitter Matt Linder at the drop of the green flag and led throughout to snare his fourth overall ASCS feature win of the season aboard the Don Ott-powered B&W Enterprises/Goodson Farms No. 4a Shaw.

Linder gave chase for nine laps before suffering the spot to current ASCS Rebel Region point leader T. J. Winegardner. Winegardner kept Adams in his sights the rest of the way but was unable to mount a serious challenge.

Randy Helton claimed the show position, with Bryn Gohn in fourth. Matt Kurtz rounded out the top five in his ASCS Rebel Region debut.
