Alain Bergeron is back on the road, after a long weekend that was very demanding.
The Canadian driver will go racing in Ontario in the Niagara Falls region with two races in two nights.
Friday night, Bergeron will be at Ohsweken Speedway for a race with the Empire Super Sprints series drivers.
Saturday night, the team will be racing at Merritville Speedway at Thorold ON.
In 2009, Alain Bergeron is in his 10th season at the wheel of a full Sprint Car. Those racing machines are among the fastest in the world.
In 2006, the Saint-Pie native was crowned the 2006 ESS tour champion after a very good 2005 year as he finished in fifth place in the point standing and he had been champion of the ‘Gater Racing News Lap Leader Award’
Bergeron was the first Canadian to win a Sprint Car race with
the ESS in 2000. Sprint Cars are one of the most popular type of racing in the United Sates and at the end of the 2001 season, in his second year driving a Sprint Car, he had the most wins of any driver in the series with 3.
Racing with the ESS since only 6 years, Alain Bergeron is already in 18th position in the all-time winners list of the series.
