Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway returns to action this coming Saturday April 28th and will host the first visit of the high flyin’, wheelie poppin’ ASCS 360 Sprint Cars as the sanctions Mid-Atlantic Tour will visit for a sprint car show presented by Thurston Spring Service, Inc.
The American Sprint Car Series Mid-Atlantic Region is in its inaugural season of sanctioning 360 Sprint Car races consist of 16 points-paying events at tracks in Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia and other neighboring states. The Mid-Atlantic Region event serves as an appetizer for the 360 East Coast Nationals scheduled for May 25 – 26, 2007. Drivers such as three-time ASCS National champion Gary Wright, former World of Outlaws winner Jason Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Travis Rilat, Darren Stewart, Gary Lee Maier are planning to be at VMS in May.
