ASCS Patriots Announce Five Stars For Carquest Motorsports Expo

As the names of drivers running the full 2007 American Sprint Car Series Patriot Regional tour continue to grow, five of the stars already named will align in a few weeks at the 21st Annual Carquest Motorsports Expo. Since 2003, the ASCS Patriots have been an integral part of this winter highlight for race fans and teams alike. It gives fans the opportunity to meet and greet ASCS Patriots drivers, get up close with the fastest beast in the east, and pick up a copy of the season schedule; this year is even better!

At 1:00 p. m. on Saturday afternoon, nearly a dozen ASCS Patriot drivers will be on hand to sign autographs. This is the first time that the ASCS Patriots will have a structured autograph session, something ASCS Patriot Regional Director Mike Emhof knows is important. “This will give fans, young and old, the opportunity to mingle with our best drivers, ” noted Emhof. “It is something that is crucial to continue building our fan base. ” While the list of drivers is still being compiled, it is known which five cars will be on display from March 9-11 at the Cargill Exhibit Center at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse:

Chuck Hebing, Car #45:

“Cobra” is one of four cars returning for the second-straight year to put his car on display. The 2006 ASCS Patriot Champion, as well as career wins leader has always been a fan favorite for both his driving style, as well as the reptiles that adorn his maxim chassis.

Bryan Howland, Car #51:

“Flyin’ Bryan” is intent on returning to the top of the list after finishing runner-up to Hebing last season. At 19-years-old, he is arguably the top young star of the Patriots, making him a fan favorite.

Geoff Quackenbush, Car #25:

The fifth-place finisher in 2006 points is set to compile an astounding number of miles on the road yet again in 2007. The Warwick, NY hot shoe is fresh off running at the Winternationals at East Bay in Tampa, FL and is ready to parlay that experience into his first career win during the upcoming season.

Jared Zimbardi, Car #35:

No longer a teenager, the recently turned 20-year-old will once again have his potent ride on hand. “The Juice” will have his car on display at a number of car shows this March, all before he turns another lap.

Scott Kreutter, Car #52:

For the second-year in a row, there will be a rookie candidate with his car on display in preparation for a huge season ahead. The 2006 NYMM Champion is a fine way to round out this stellar set of stars!
