The weather forecast called for 10% chance of rain on Saturday at McKean County Raceway. Even so, steady rain all afternoon forced the postponement of the third race of the 2007 ASCS Patriot Season.
For the third time in four tries, racing was cancelled at McKean County Raceway on a night when the sprint cars attempted to invade the beautiful 1/3-mile. Even though the skies were clear for parts of the afternoon, a heavy shower at approximately 4:00 p. m. ended all hopes of getting the program in.
With a full card of racing and an early curfew, McKean County Raceway and ASCS Patriot officials agreed that the best thing to do would be to reschedule the event for September 1.
