NASCAR Camping World Truck Series: News And Notes - Talladega Superspeedway |
The Geisler Racing team and 2006 Lernerville Speedway Track Champion, Lynn Geisler welcomed the World of Outlaws Late Model Series (WoO) to the Lernerville Speedway last Tuesday, April 17th for the $10,000 to win ‘Showdown in Sarvertown’.
Lynn started off the night with a solid 4th place finish in his heat race behind WoO tour regulars Clint Smith, Chris Madden, and Rick Eckert to transfer to the night’s 50-lap A-Main event. His fourth place finish would put him in the 14th starting position for the ‘Showdown in Sarvertown’. Geisler was running strong in the top 10 when he was spun on one of the restarts to bring out the caution. That put Lynn behind the eight ball and he was unable to get the car to handle properly and went pit-side early in the event relegating him to a 21st place finish.
On Friday and Saturday the team made their weekly appearances at Lernerville Speedway on Friday and Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway on Saturday. Geisler walked away from Lernerville with an 8th place finish and a 4th place finish from Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway.
